Isaac Salter
Isaac Salter is an Australian circus performer with a background in music, theatre, gymnastics and outdoor adventure education. He started his circus career directing community circus shows after studying at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in 2013 with off-ground specialties of Chinese pole and teeterboard.
Best known for his audience engagement and on-stage energy, he is an all round circus showman bringing his physical clowning to a varied circus skills repertoire. He has toured the world as a performer with Trash Test Dummies kids comedy acrobatic shows and with high end contemporary circus shows Cirque Éloize and Bête De Cirque.
He is now on a mission to bring the circus world down to the South West and make the community circus savvy.
Michèle Lainé
Michèle Lainé is originally from England where she trained as a gymnast and scientist with a PhD in Materials Engineering. She took a twist into performing as an aerial acrobat in circus theatre with Swamp Circus, co-founding Greentop Circus in Sheffield 1994 and Viva Aerial Dance in London 1999 pioneering aerial silks as a circus art in the UK.
Performance has since been across live corporate events for major brands worldwide, with television and Hollywood movie credits as an aerial stunt specialist including Batman Begins and Sherlock Holmes II, doubling for Eva Green in The Golden Compass and on trapeze for Kate Moss for Rimmel. She is also a proud Guinness World Record holder for synchronised aerial fabrics.
Bringing 25 years of performance and production experience over to Western Australia in 2015, her goal is now to develop professional and community circus network and opportunities locally along with all the health benefits and joy that circus brings.
